Solo exhibition at St Mary’s Church, Devizes
Alexander is staging his first solo exhibition in St Mary’s Church Devizes from 7th – 9th July 2023.
This exhibition will include oil paintings, drawings and sculptures displayed in the beautiful Norman interior of the Grade 1 listed building and will showcase for the first time Alexander’s recent work, studying traditional methods in classical portraiture.
“The light and space in St Mary’s Church provides a perfect venue for displaying my artwork,” said Alexander. “I love talking about art and am looking forward to sharing my passion with those visiting the exhibition.”
Alexander’s work focuses primarily on the human form. His work explores the complexity and beauty of the human condition, capturing the unique characteristics and personalities of his wide-ranging sitters and inviting people to take a moment to see deeper than the surface.
